‘Streetcar on Lincoln’ adds to winter dining
The Lowlands Group has added individual dining cars to its outdoor winter dining experiences at Centraal Grand Café & Tappery, 2306 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.
Located along the Lincoln Ave. side of the corner café, the “Streetcar on Lincoln” features three individual dining cars available for 90-minute increments. A streetcar rental is $50, with seating in each car limited to six people, and includes a Lowlands Snackuterie Box, with the option to order from a full menu of food and beverages.
Lowlands intends to keep the streetcar dining available as long as the city’s Active Streets program allows. Reservations are available online at lowlandswinter.com
Cozy at The Corners dining week
The Corners of Brookfield will feature “Cozy at The Corners” Winter Dining Week from March 1 to 6. Meal deals for individuals and families are available for both dine-in and takeout, and range from $10 to $15 for individual meal packages, and $40 to $55 for family style meals.

Concoctions serves cocktails to-go
Warm up your winter with Jamaican-inspired specialty drinks to-go from Concoctions at 4943 W. Fond Du Lac Ave., one of a handful of places offering to-go drinks in Milwaukee. The bar is located inside the Uppa Yard restaurant and offers a menu of beverages that can be made with or without liquor. The menu includes drinks such as a Rum Punch made with pineapple, mango and fresh fruits, a hot Butter Cookie Coffee using Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, and the frozen Lava Flow made with coconut and strawberries.
Customers start by ordering the virgin version of their drink in the size of their choice, and then have the option of selecting a liquor to spike the drink. Rockabilly Chili recruits competitors
WANTED: Restaurants, cafes, caterers, storefronts and food truck operators interested in taking part in WMSE’s Rockabilly Chili fundraiser the week of April 5-11. The annual chili competition will no longer be just one day, but an entire week, which will provide a safe way for participants to enjoy the chili, support the local eateries, and benefit the WMSE radio station with each purchase.
