Saying it is “answering the call for fall,” Dunkin’ has announced it will offer its pumpkin flavored coffee and drinks along with new menu items earlier than ever before.
The drink will be available on Aug. 19 along with pumpkin flavored coffee and espresso beverages, spiced drinks and bite-sized bakery treats.
Who doesn’t understand the desire to race to the end of 2020? Halloween candy and other pumpkin-flavored foods such as cereal have already appeared in grocery stores.
“This is one of the most anticipated times of the year for Dunkin’ guests, and we’re excited to make pumpkin favorites available at Dunkin’ restaurants earlier than ever,” said Jill Nelson, vice President, marketing strategy at Dunkin’, in a news release.
“This year, we have an especially robust menu of new products with something for everyone – from craveable bakery items to snacks and sandwiches that pair perfectly with our seasonal lattes and coffees. No one does fall flavor better than Dunkin’.”
The new “Signature Pumpkin Spice Latte” is available hot or iced. Dunkin’ said the “combines rich, smooth espresso with pumpkin and vanilla flavors, topped with whipped cream, a caramel drizzle, and cinnamon sugar topping.”
A new Chai Latte offers a “sweetened chai tea blend with spices including cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg combined with milk.
Pumpkin flavored swirl is available in hot or iced coffee, chai latte, cold brew, espresso drinks, frozen coffee and frozen chocolate.
The Apple Cider Donut is tossed in cinnamon sugar. Bite-sized Apple Cider Munchkins also are available.
The Pumpkin Donut, Pumpkin Munchkins and Pumpkin Muffin – with icing and streusel crumbs – also are on the menu.
Also returning for fall is the Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich that has five half slices of maple sugar seasoned bacon, egg and white cheddar on a croissant.
New snack options at Dunkin’ are Stuffed Mini Bagels stuffed with cream cheese and served warm, Steak and Cheese Rollups with steak and cheese rolled into flour tortillas and Maple Sugar Seasoned Snackin’ Bacon – eight snack-size slices of bacon in a sleeve.
