The Evansville Germania Maennerchor will host Christmas at Germania on Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4. Beginning at 7 p.m. both nights. Enjoy a German meal, pageant and music from the Germania Maennerchor and Damenchor (men’s and women’s choirs). Jersey Mike’s Subs is now open in The Promenade development off Burkhardt Road, right next to Crumbl Cookies and Biscuit Belly. On the menu are Northeast-style cold and hot subs such as the Jersey Shore’s Favorite with Provolone, ham and cappacuolo; the Cancro Special with roasted beef, provolone and pepperoni; and a variety of chicken and beef cheese steaks.

La Campirana’s “Botanas” downtown kitchen at Arcademie bar and arcade is now open. Grab a craft brew, play some games and settle in for a quesadilla or tacos and more from the authentic cooks at La Campirana.

Mayse Farm Market is now open for the winter sausage season. When the veggies are not growing, the Mayse staff spends their time crafting fresh and smoked sausages, ponhaus (similar to scrapple), liver sausage and house-cured bacon. Baked goods and local and gourmet food items are available as well.

Myriad Brewing Company has announced that its new Newburgh taproom will also be a coffee house. The new location will be open by March of 2022.

Schymick’s Kitchen will host a special Upstairs Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 30 beginning at 6:30 p.m. with beer pairings by Myriad Brewing Company. On the menu are a spinach salad with raspberry vinaigrette and Raspberry Kettle Sour; cured red snapper with a hibiscus flower citrus and tequila salad with Rose Mallow American IPA; a cinnamon steak skewer with pickled ginger, bok choy and fried rice with Chrismukkah Winter Warmer; and chocolate tart with berries and Mocha Joe chocolate milk stout. Tickets are $99 per person and include tax and gratuity.

Tractor Supply is hosting two citrus special sales on Saturday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 5. On Saturday, the Georgia Peach Truck will stop from 11 a.m.-noon with fresh satsumas, pecans and peach cobbler kits. Items must be preordered at thepeachtruck.com. On Sunday, Indian River Natural will be on hand from 11 a.m.-noon with fresh Florida oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, mandarines, Georgia pecans and raw Florida orange blossom honey. Fruit is in 20 pound cases and may be pre-ordered at indianrivernatural.com.
