you are looking at the pi that won me the contest. Yeah, I was featured in this issue in the summer for June and July for my cookie butter pie, which was the grand prize winner. They had 1st, 2nd and 3rd and the grand prize and I was the grand prize winner. So I am excited that they pick 10 finalists for recipe of the year. I taste the cookie butter at Walmart one day, and I was like, Oh, my gosh, this is so good. And the consistency, if you can see it, is just like peanut butter actually looks like peanut butter. So I was like, Oh, my gosh, this is so good. And I had a recipe for a peanut butter pie already, and I do this all the time. I always remix things recipes, and I’m like, Oh, if you make it this way, you could probably substitute this flavor Jello this flavor and, you know, create the exact same thing, but different flavor. My mother is one of 16, and where in my grandmother’s kitchen right now, which is very, very special because she was, she had 16 kids, eight boys and eight girls and she loves cooking. She cooked up until past 90 and my she taught my mother how to cook all of her girls. Even the boys cook in our family, my uncles, and it’s just she taught us. The art of cooking, family and food is what she taught us, and it feels good to carry on that tradition.
