STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here we are for another taste of The Dish. Give a big “hello” to Ed Canlon, owner of Canlon’s Restaurant in Oakwood. This Chopped! Champ will return to Food Network. On Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 10 p.m. Canlon will be featured on “Kitchen Crash,” a reality cooking show with host “Sandwich King”Jeff Mauro.
“Get a bag of popcorn ready!” cheered Canlon from the Monsignor Farrell High School cafeteria kitchen where he and wife Jeanne Ferrantino-Canlon run the food service operation.
