Jimmy Dean Has Brand New Breakfast Nuggets

Craving chicken nuggets is so much of an eternal #mood that it’s basically a character trait at this point. Despite this, chicken nuggets aren’t necessarily the best idea for a balanced breakfast, but to satisfy that craving Jimmy Dean created genius breakfast nuggets that feature all of the best morning flavors.

The brand launched two different types of breakfast nuggets that feature 11 grams of protein and come in bite-sized pieces for an easy morning meal. You can choose from sausage, egg, and cheese or chicken sausage, egg, and cheese. Soooo technically you *can* eat a chicken nugget for breakfast if you opt for the latter.

Each nugget is made with the signature Jimmy Dean seasoned meat and is put together in a little egg patty that is then rolled in a bread crumb coating. They can be ready in as little as two minutes and the bread crumbs will crisp up to add texture to every bite.

These are definitely one of those items that you can totally make quickly in the microwave but you can also pop them in your air fryer to make sure to get that crunchy outside. It’s also important that every nugget you consume have the proper dipping sauce to go along with it, and I’d say classic ketchup or maple syrup is the way to go for Jimmy Dean breakfast nuggets.

Senior Director of Marketing at Jimmy Dean Scott Glenn said that this new innovation gives families a quick and easy way to jumpstart their mornings. “We know it’s important to people to have a variety of breakfast options in order to keep mornings delicious and fun,” he said in a press release: “We believe breakfast helps people have a great start to their day, whether on-the-go with our bite-sized Breakfast Nuggets or around a kitchen table enjoying the comforting flavors of a Skillet.”
